About Us

We’re Engineers First. Not Marketers. Not Account Managers.

WPRefine exists because generic “speed plugins” and outsourced ticket queues don’t build fast, resilient WooCommerce stores. Server-level performance engineering does.

Why WPRefine Exists

Most WordPress agencies treat performance as an afterthought—something fixed by installing a bulk caching plugin or toggling a few minification switches. But when traffic spikes, databases grow, or complex WooCommerce checkout flows are tested, plugin-level fixes collapse.

We built WPRefine to eliminate the gap between high-level application development and low-level Linux infrastructure. We don’t hide behind account management layers or hand off ticket queues to junior support staff. Every optimization, security hardening, and database tune is performed directly by experienced engineers with deep expertise in full-stack WordPress architecture.

“If you can’t trace a TTFB bottleneck down to the exact SQL query, PHP thread, or Nginx rule causing it, you’re not optimizing—you’re guessing.”

— The WPRefine Philosophy

Our Core Philosophy

1. Infrastructure First, WordPress Second

Speed starts at the operating system layer. Before touching WordPress code, we optimize Nginx FastCGI caches, PHP-FPM pool settings, and MariaDB buffer sizes tailored specifically to your hardware limits.

2. Zero Bloat, Custom Engineering

We avoid heavy third-party plugin stacks. When custom functionality or page-builder features are needed, we engineer lightweight internal plugins and clean hooks that preserve minimal DOM depth and lean asset payloads.

3. Active Edge Defense

Performance and security are inseparable. We write precise Cloudflare WAF rules, rate-limit resource-heavy query strings, and block rogue crawlers at the edge before they ever touch your application server.

4. Data Over Synthetic Score Chasing

We don’t cheat synthetic speed test tools. We focus on real-world metric gains: Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), reduced server response times (TTFB), and flawless checkout stability during live sales events.
